Welcome to another blog. I’m sure this is just one of many blogs in the interweb, but thanks for stopping by. Since you’re here, just thought I’d formally introduce myself.
My name is Faye and I’ve lived in the Bay Area my whole life. I’ve been exposed to the huuuuge melting pot that is the Bay Area and I am so grateful to have grown up in such a diverse community. I am the eldest of 3. I have a younger brother and sister. I also have a crazy, spoiled pup named, Rocky.
Why blog? I understand that blogging is such an impacted area in the internet world, but I’ve always loved to write. I’ve had my share of Xanga, Blogger, and Tumblr in the past and I loved it. I was religiously posting content several days a week in middle/high school on those blogs, but then life happened and I stopped. The last blog I had was going into my early college years, but I couldn’t keep up. Fast forward to today, my sister told me about starting a blog again and mentioned that she has been posting some of her own stuff on her newly made blog as well. I was hesitant for a bit, but I was like, “Oh, what the heck. Why not?” Recently, I found my most recent blog. I read through it, it made me smile and it took be back to those days and each particular blog I wrote. I got inspired again. I thought to myself, it’s been so long since I’ve blogged, but the advantage to that is the years of growth and experience I’ve been through so far, which would make for great topics to blog about.
Back then, my blogs were like a diary. I never really made them public, because they were simply for me to look back on. This time around, I want to share a little bit of everything with all of you, along with me being able to look back at an archive of my life. I knew this was the perfect time to start a blog because I am going to go through some major life changes within the next few months. One of those being that I’m getting married in November of this year (that’s 5 months away. yikes.) With that, I thought it would be great to blog about wedding updates and the planning process for me to look back on and also share things I am learning along the way. I’m more than halfway into planning, but would still love to share my experiences up to this point. Along with wedding planning, I thought it would make great leeway into life as a newlywed, which I am excited, but nervous about.
Other topics on my blog will include DIYs (Pinterest junkie over here), recipes (I love to cook), travel (hoping to experience the world more, especially after marriage), my fitness journey (I have a lot to learn), and lifestyle (everything in between). I also have a vlog channel on Youtube with my fiancé about our daily lives, adventures, wedding updates and more!
With that being said, I hope ya’ll stick around and experience life with me 🙂
