Bridal Shower – Details!

My bridal shower has been a week and half out, but I’m still dreaming about it. I wanted to make a separate post about the details of the shower because they were too cute and definitely deserved their own post. My sister and bridesmaids did such a great job with everything. I couldn’t be any happier with the outcome!

The sign- The sign was one of the first things you saw when you walked into the venue. It was a perfect size and the floral design was beautiful!

The dessert table- You see those balloons? My sis and 2 bridesmaids made that the night before. It was gorgeous! My sis told me the night before that they were going to attempt a project and she was out til past midnight, doing this apparently! It turned out so well. I still have no idea how they put it together, but I know it deserved some recognition.

The desserts! – My sis placed an order with her friend that makes these cute little donuts/cupcakes. She ordered pandan cupcakes, red velvet and blue velvet donuts. They were so good! Along with them, we had a trio of cookies from Costco because you just can’t go wrong with those.

The favors- I love succulents. When I told my sister about these succulent favors online, she said, “I’ll see what I can do” and she made it happen! These cute little succulents came assorted and the guests were able to choose and take one home to take care of and grow. I took one for myself as well, of course.

The venue- The venue is appropriately named AVENUE. It is located in SF on Mission Street. It took a week of good research to figure out where to hold the shower. There was no way we could do it at home because our house is tiny and I knew I didn’t want a huge party. So, when I came across this venue in my search, I knew it was the one. It was beautiful! What I love about this venue is how you really don’t need to decorate it much because it’s already gorgeous as is. I love the draping and lights in the ceiling and the artwork on the walls. There was a small conference room in the back, behind the dessert table, that was a perfect spot to lay out the food. There was also a cute lounge area with chairs and a couch, which was nice and cozy. Overall, the party was perfect. I wish I could do it all over again!
